BECOME A VOLUNTEER

There are four volunteering categories that are ideal for energetic and responsible students, mid-career professionals and older adults. Join us for an opportunity to help the John Avery Boys & Girls Club expand and improve its services.

Year-Round Volunteers

Volunteers interested in an extended commitment of service with the Boys & Girls Clubs. (Examples: Math & Reading Tutoring, Mentoring, Coaching, etc.)

Short-term Community Service Assistants:

Volunteers interested in working on a designated length of time, or with established starting and ending dates.

Special Event Volunteers:

Volunteers interested in working for a one-time special event or project. (Examples: Spring Fling, Golf Fore Kids, Thanksgiving Dinner, etc.).

Recruitment & Community Outreach Volunteers

Volunteers interested in helping the John Avery Boys & Girls Club have a visible program presence in the community are needed! Volunteers are needed to maintain and establish collaborative relationships with local schools, and community service initiatives. Bilingual Volunteers are welcome.
